  Excellent food, ample portions, friendly service and welcoming surroundings! Love this place for delicious food in a friendly local setting. Have been here on several occasions and can give a 5-star rating on the Greek omelette. Guests who have accompanied me have raved about the Daddy-O burger and delicious pancakes. Jeff, the owner, frequently steps out from behind the kitchen to welcome patrons and ask for their feedback on what they've ordered. Highly recommend a visit to Breen's Diner, if you haven't had the pleasure of visiting this local gem. If you've been before, you may already be planning your next visit. I know I am :-)

  The breakfast food is good, but the service is not. It appears to be more from lack of awareness and experience about how to run a restaurant. When one goes into a diner with a counter, you expect to be acknowledged upon taking a seat. Even if busy, just a hello, 'I see you and will get to you' is all that is needed -- and then of course, do it. My last trip in, it was not busy and still almost had to tackle the waitress to get a cup of coffee and order. I think maybe these owners don't understand how to provide good service. Again, the breakfast was good food -- but the servers are slow/clueless about how to do it right. Good tips come from good service! Get a clue owners!
